Vikki Diehl of Twin Pine Kennels was first introduced to working retrievers in 1989.  From that moment on, she knew she had developed a new passion and there was no turning back!

Vikki started running AKC Hunt Tests with a lot of success, putting lots of Junior Hunter titles on dogs, then moved on to Senior Hunter, then Master Hunter and in 1995 she qualified one of her dogs for the Master National. A few years later she got involved with competing in AKC field trials.  Twin Pine Kennels currently has dogs with derby points, Qualifying wins and placements and is competing in All-Age field trial stakes. Vikki has also competed in the 2004 ESPN2 Super Retriever Series and the 2005 World Retriever Championship which was aired on the Outdoor Life Network and in 2005 she won the Delta Waterfowl’s Retriever ShootOut.

Currently, Vikki is the Secretary for the Maryland Retriever Club and is a AKC Certified Field Trial judge.

Twin Pine Kennels pups have gone on to be AKC Master Hunters, field trial competitors, Search and Rescue homes and one is currently a Service dog.  Our dogs are bred to be excellent gun dogs as well as wonderful, active family companions that are intelligent and easy to train.
