Vikki,
I took Gracie on her first goose hunt two weeks ago. Of course, my daughter wanted to tag along. We went to a farm I do work for. The farm has two ponds and alot of corn fields. We set up at the edge of the pond in thick cover with a corn field behind us. Well, to make the story short we called some in and I shot the first one which went down in pond. Her first goose retreive. She was a little shy with this big bird. She grabbed it by the wing and pulled it in. The next round I shot two at one time and both went down in the pond. She did a doulbe retrieve. Grabbed the goose at the upper chest and delivered it to hand. She was as proud as could be. That was absolutely the best hunting experience I have ever had. My daughter at my side and a dog that I have been training for a whole year. It all came together. I shot a buck, turkey, and a coyote this year and the goose hunt by far took the prize.
I see why you are passionate about your dogs. I am so pleased with Gracie. We are going on a pheasant hunt in two weeks and more goose hunting. I will let you know how things go.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Vikki,
Wanted to share a picture of Colt- taken yesterday. He is the absolutely best dog we have ever had!!!Smart as can be and very very good and a breeze to train, He was basically house broken the day we got him. At 13 weeks he weighed 27 pounds. I take him back to the vet tomorrow for a 16 week check and rabies.

Vikki,
Just wanted to let you know Max made it home just fine and seems to have settled in very well. We didn't even make it to the end of Gue Road before we had to get him out and ride in the back with my kids. He slept most of the way except for a potty break midway home.
He is amazingly bright. He learned to sit yesterday (easily) and today learned to retrieve a ball and toy duck as if it was second nature. I was amazed. Surprisingly, at least half of his retrieves are back to hand. He adores all the attention and is so eager to please everyone. He loves to go outdoors so much, it is sometimes difficult to get him back inside.
Thanks for all your help. We couldn't be happier with our new pup.

Vikki,
I just wanted to let you know who great Joy and Elijah are doing !!! They are awesome...both are very intelligent and funny they keep me laughing all the time ! They were so easy to train and at 4 months they are completely house broken ( you did a great job with them both, they were basically house broken when I brought them home) and they understand the basic commands. Because of their personality and playfulness they have become celebrities in the neighborhood! Everyone knows who they are and when we go on our walks all the children want to come and play with Joy & Elijah ! I could not be happier with my two babies...
Thanks,
Akosua

Vikki,
Taz has been a real trouper. She passed her Junior title in four straight tests and her Senior title also in four straight tests. Although a real hard charging dog - she is starting to setting down and is ready to do her job plan when asked. I am so glad I got her from Vikki - we are having so much fun!
Thanks,
Carol |
